After finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Indre decided to change track and took a job as a massage therapist in Lithuania for an Ayurvedic spa centre. There she studied Indian head massage, Indian foot massage, Abyanga and back massage courses. Indre came to London in 2016 with her husband and worked tirelessly for a while as a carer. Having found a love for massage, Indre decided to finish two professional massage therapy courses (Swedish massage and deep tissue) and to get going with her career as a massage therapist. Indre is a lovely, peaceful, gentle soul. She provides a range of massage techniques and offers the most wonderful massages. She has a huge interest in the Indian culture and Ayurvedic science. In her spare time, Indre practises meditation, yoga asanas and pranayama as well as reading and cooking (she’s an amazing cook!). Indre has been trained to the highest standard by completing the Mumanu Advanced Specialist Pregnancy & Postnatal Massage Training Programme.
“I think pregnancy is a very important period in woman’s life. From the first day when the new life starts, baby depends on his mum. That is why it is so important that pregnant ladies would feel physically and emotionally healthy. Massage is one of the way which can help pregnant women to relax and remove tension from certain parts of the body. At the same time massage helps the baby. Massage can also be a preventive measure from postnatal depression.” Indre
Holly started her massage training with Champney’s in Surrey. Realising quickly that she was a natural at massage, Holly has jumped at the opportunity to join us as an advanced specialist in pregnancy massage and postnatal massage. Completing the Mumanu Pregnancy Massage Training Programme, Holly decided to leave her secondary school teaching position of eight years to join us as a Mumanu Licensed Therapist and to help pregnant women and new mums in such a special time of their lives. This training is the most extensive in the country.
Becoming a specialist pregnancy massage therapist with us also allows Holly to spend more time with her two young children. Experiencing a wonderful waterbirth with her first child and a fully medicalised birth with her second, Holly has both sides of the spectrum to share with you. In her spare time, Holly is a bit of a fitness goddess and will be representing the UK in the Obstacle Course Racing European Championships this year. We’re not sure how she manages this with two happy kids!? She’s totally inspiring so you’ll have to pick her brain for tips.

“As a mother of two myself, I completely understand how important massage treatments for mums-to-be can be. I suffered from severe lower back pain when I was carrying my second child and there was nothing like this locally for me, had it been available I would have definitely used it. I often have pregnant woman asking me if I offer Pregnancy massages or if I can recommend someone to them but truth be told, there just isn’t that type of facility here. To be able to offer tried & trusted treatments to expectant mums is amazing, especially under a recognised name, Mumanu.” Laura
