Feedback from the Made for Mums Awards 2018
“My new go to for colds. A little goes a long way and the ingredients are a big hit. Well done guys great product.”
“What I liked about the product was the soothing smell and the texture which rubbed on so easily on my chest without stickiness or any residue. Some products can be very over powering but not Mumanu it was very relaxing and comforting when on. I cannot think how I’d improve this product. And yes I most definitely would recommend it.”
“I received this product at just the right time, as I had been suffering with a blocked nose for nearly a week before this decongestant balm arrived. I was around 33 weeks pregnant and didn’t want to take anything for my cold just in case it was a risk to my baby. Therefore, I was very happy to be able to try this organic decongestant balm to see if it would help. The first thing I noticed was the packaging. It comes in a lovely little jar, very compact but sturdy. It does smell gorgeous, and is not too strong or overpowering as some other leading brands are. I rubbed a little around and under my nose before I went to bed and I have to say I was able to breathe well throughout the night and get a good sleep . The balm was soft and sensitive on my skin, with no stinging like other brands would have done. I really liked how this balm was not thick or sticky, but was soft and smooth, and it soaked into my skin well. I am unsure if I would actually pay £13.50 for this small jar, however on the other hand, I do feel that this would last quite a long time and therefore maybe would be good value for money. Overall, I would recommend this Organic Decongestant Balm to pregnant ladies, where it can work for them, and with it’s organic ingredients, not be harmful to their unborn babies.”

Why Organic and Fairtrade?
Why wouldn’t we?! The fundamental philosophy of Mumanu is love, kindness and respect for nature. It makes sense then to certify our balms with the Soil Association and Fairtrade Foundation. We don’t like nasty pesticides or damaging farming practises so, the only way we can avoid them is to use certified organic products. We also want people to get a fair deal, be treated well and to ensure that communities are not taken advantage of. Using ingredients from Africa, South America and Asia, we want to know that the people we buy from are paid well and their community get direct benefits. The Cocoa industry is rife with slavery; we don’t want to be part of that. Yes, our products are more expensive than non-organic, non-Fairtrade products but this is the real, fair price of goods… that don’t cost the earth.
